Registration is open until either 1) the conference sells out or 2) the final day of the conference.

You can pick up your badge at the Registration Desk, any time during Registration Desk hours

Something has come up and I need to cancel. How do I go about doing this?
A 100% refund will be made to those who cancel for any reason on or before October 22, 2010. A 50% handling fee will be assessed to those who cancel on October 23, 2010, or later. Refunds will not be given to those who do not cancel and do not attend. All cancellations must be in writing and can be emailed to service@elearningguild.com or faxed to +1.707.566.8963.

Do I have to sign up for the sessions?
Registered participants of The DevLearn 2010 Conference can attend any session listed in the schedule (does not include Optional Pre-Conference Certificate Programs. Separate fee required).

Do I have to pay now, or can I be invoiced?
You can be invoiced for your registration. Simply select the Bill Me payment option, and enter your PO# (if you don’t have a PO#, type in your name in the PO field). Once you submit your registration, we will mail you an invoice. Please note that payment must be received prior to discount deadlines for the discount to remain in effect. Can I sign up for a Pre-conference Workshop later if I decide to take one?
Absolutely! However, please remember that Pre-conference Workshops often sell out, so you’ll want to register for these events as soon as you can.

Can I walk in and sign up for the conference?
Walk-ins are accepted as long as the conference is not sold out. Materials for walk-in registrations are based on availability at the time of registration.

If I register for the Expo only, what do I get?
As an Expo Only attendee, you have access to the Expo, Master Classes, and Learning stages, such as the Learning Media Studio, Serious Games Zone, Social Learning Camp, and Mobile Learning Jam.

What discounts are available?

Do we have to pay by a certain date to receive the early registration discounts?

What type of proof should I send to receive my discount?
To receive the discounts, you must fax proof of eligibility to +1.707.566.8963. 
Verification types include:

  • A  statement on your organization’s letterhead verifying your proof of employment

  • A copy of your organization-issued ID card

Your registration will not be fully processed until we receive this information, and it has been verified.

Are meals included?
Continental Breakfast and Lunch are included with your registration (no lunch on November 5th). There is a wide range of dining options close to the hotel for dinner. Check in with the hotel concierge for your options!

What are the Breakfast Bytes?

Each morning at DevLearn 2010, you will have the option of joining a focused “Breakfast Bytes" discussion group. There will be twelve to choose from each day. These facilitated discussions will enable you to meet other conference attendees in a relaxed, casual environment, so you can share your best practices, insights, and tips while learning from one other’s experiences.

Are the Optional Pre-conference Workshops full day events?
The focused Optional Pre-conference Certificate Programs will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 8:30am to 4:30pm. They are full day events. A separate paid registration is required to attend.

What is the Expo Reception all about?
Wrap up your first day at the conference by joining all your e-Learning industry colleagues at the Marketplace Expo Welcome Reception! There will be Hors d'oeuvres, drinks, friendly colleagues to meet and greet, and exciting exhibitors.

What is the dress code?
Comfortable, casual attire is recommended. We recommend you bring a sweater or jacket, because it can get cool in the evenings and in session breakout rooms.
