Hello DevLearn Attendees!
I am Dr. Strangelearn and I have some INCREDIBLY EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE! The eLearning Guild has allowed me to host an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) at DevLearn this year. It’s called Dr. Strangelearn’s Learning Laboratory and I want to make sure that YOU are going to play! The game is kicking off now and we could use your help. I’ve posted a welcome video if you’d like to watch!
At DevLearn 2010, you will learn about new strategies, tools and technologies for learning that you can use to bring The New Face of Learning to your organization. But how are you going to SELL all those great ideas you come back with to your colleagues and managers? The goal of my game is to help arm you with data, resources, and case studies you’ll need to overcome the most commonly encountered organizational objections to new learning strategies. Say that 10 times fast!
Playing the game is easy – for starters, come visit me at www.DrStrangelearn.com. There, you can sign up and join a team (you don’t have to sign up with friends, there are already lots of teams with some super smart colleagues looking for more players!) Then, follow me on Twitter (@DrStrangelearn) and keep an eye on the twitter hashtag #DL10ARG. Not on twitter? Now’s a good time to start!
You’ll get to interact with some of my Mad Scientists who are learning industry experts in disguise (Their true identity will be revealed live at the conference!). I promise that you’ll leave DevLearn having had a great time, and with tools and resources you’re sure to find useful. See you at DevLearn!
