System Set-up and Configuration

To ensure that your participation is successful, prepare your system as soon as possible so if you do have technical challenges, you will have time to get them sorted out.

  • You must have a PC or Mac computer and while you can participate with a 56K dialup internet connection, it is recommended that you have a high-speed broadband (or better) internet connection. 
  • As an individual participant, you will need to have a PC headset or speakers. If you are participating as a group, you will need to have speakers so everyone can hear.
  • To access Adobe’s connection self test, click HERE.

  • When using Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional, please be sure you close as many open programs on your system as possible. Also, allocating as much bandwidth as you can to the sessions ensures optimal performance of the software. Click here for the System Requirements
