The Mobile Learning Jam is the place to explore opportunities and potentials for mobile learning. We have some planned sessions where you will learn about who is doing what, how to get started, available tools, and future directions. You will discover how to provide educational content for your learners when and where they need it on their mobile devices. Mobile learning is not about e-Learning “Lite,“ but about so much more.
Mobile learning experts and enthusiasts will be available in the Mobile Learning Jam area. There will be sample devices for you to try out, as well as an ongoing survey in which you can participate via text messaging. Bring your questions and experiences with you to share. The Mobile Learning Jam is open for all registered participants and expo-only attendees of DevLearn.

Judy Brown Education Technology Consultant
Formerly the Emerging Technology Analyst in the Office of Learning and Information Technology at the University of Wisconsin, she founded the Academic ADL Co-Lab with the U.S. Department of Defense at UW and became involved in SCORM as Executive Director of that Co-Lab. Recently, she is now focused on the mobile learning area working with ADL on the Immersive Learning Technologies Team, serving on the Army Education Advisory Committee, and coordinating mLearnopedia.com and cc.mLearnopedia.com.
