Deep Dives
Tuesday, April 15 | 1:15pm - 5:15pm
Insight and information, reflection and action, understanding and sharing characterize the Deep Dive experience. Each one-hour Deep Dive begins with an industry expert providing a 30 minute briefing on the topic area, sharing key insights and information to help you shape your own thinking. You will then be led through a 20 minute process of guided reflection and discussion – in teams with your colleagues – to give you the opportunity to apply what you’ve just learned for your organization. The Deep Dive experience ends with an intense 10-minute group de-brief to ensure key learnings are shared with all participants. We have selected three critical Deep Dives for this Colloquium:

Research Update
Over the past year the Guild has published a number of break-through 360° Reports on various e-Learning trends and technologies. The Guild surveyed members world-wide on topics such as LMS, authoring tools and technologies, the use of simulations and serious games, synchronous learning trends including the use of virtual words, effective learning measurement, and mobile learning trends. The Guild also conducted the most comprehensive Salary and Compensation report for e-Learning professionals.
This session, presented by the Guild’s Director of Research and Emerging Technologies, Steve Wexler, will highlight – from a management perspective – some of the most interesting and important findings from these reports.
