The emergence of learning metaworlds, such as Second Life, has sparked renewed interest in interactive 3D (three dimensional) content and rendered visualizations. But 3D model development can present significant challenges for program designers and managers, as can content distribution and delivery.
Session participants will learn the challenges in designing and implementing instructional 3D models, and see solutions for constructing and delivering them in various educational settings. You will learn some of the latest strategies and techniques for creating rich media in blended learning settings using Adobe Flash and Adobe Acrobat 3D. You’ll learn the best practices and caveats of reusable 3D content production and delivery for rich media e-Learning. You’ll see the “dissection” of real-world, evidence-based scenarios, and how to execute and make use of 3D secured interactive documents.
In this session, you will learn:
3D modeling and rendering modes and tools
Rigging the model based on learning objectives
Open standards for real-time 3D communication
Use of 3D motion controllers and 3D scanners
How to make it easy to build 3D simulations
To create, view, and interact with high-quality 3D content documents (PDF and XML)
Online, offline, and mobile delivery of rich-media 3D content
Real time interactive m-Learning
Audience: Intermediate and advanced designers, developers, project managers, and managers. No prior knowledge or skill is required.
