Knowing when and how to apply gamification concepts in an adult learning setting can seem somewhat nebulous. What most learning professionals and organizations need to jump start their gamification efforts is a framework that can support their efforts.
This session examine a concrete framework that provides a formal approach to understanding gamification. You will learn to think like a gamer, and to use a directed vocabulary in the ideation and development process. You will discuss best practices for applying this framework in the development of learning games, an open learning gamified platform, and gaming performance metrics. You will leave this session with tangible ideas of how to apply gamification practices in your workplace.
