The Learning & Professional Development Research Report

The majority of eLearning Guild members are professionally engaged in the management, design, development, and delivery of learning programs and systems. They are also learners in their own right who continually acquire new knowledge and/or skills as part of their own professional development. This raises many questions: What do they learn? Why do they learn? How do they learn? When do they learn? How much time do they spend learning and what does it cost?

Our recent survey on learning and professional development asked these questions -- and more. This Guild Research Report is based on that survey and will provide insight into how your professional colleagues approach their professional development so you can benchmark your activities. It will also provide more insight into how professional workers in general learn in the workplace.

Online Research Briefing for this report is scheduled for January 19th at 1:00pm pacific time. Click on 'Research Briefings' from the main menu to learn more.
