Get Your Dynamic Mobile Website Up and Running in 45 Minutes

Where do you start if you need to create a dynamic, mobile-ready Website but do not have the technical background to create such a site? There are a wealth of materials online that can help a person in such need, but it can be daunting to know where to start. This session will help participants to understand some of the tools and resources they can utilize to create a dynamic, mobile-ready Website in 45 minutes.
Session participants will walk through each step in getting a dynamic, content management system (CMS)-driven, mobile-ready Website up in less than an hour. There is a lot of content to be covered in an hour session so many of the installation steps will be in a screencast available to participants after the session. This session will demonstrate that it is very feasible to have such a site created in a short time.
In this session, you will learn:
- What a CMS is and how it can make your life easier
- How to install a CMS
- How to configure your CMS to be mobile friendly
- How to download, install, and configure an Android emulator for testing purposes
Technology discussed in this session: WordPress/Drupal Android emulator.
Audience: Novice designers and pProject managers who have a basic working knowledge of Websites.
