Five Phrases to Master Mobile Learning
mLearnCon 2013 - June 19, 2013
The potential for mLearning is huge. Making a success of mobile is a huge opportunity to impact your business outcomes. However, it’s also the case that taking advantage of mobile is non-trivial, and the real barrier is mental. There are many misapprehensions about mobile that are barriers to successful implementation.
In this session, you will review the five phrases that make mobile work. You will examine the major mindsets that can undermine mobile. You will explore each of the possibilities and what they mean. You will see some clear ways to think and communicate about mLearning that give you a handle on the barriers and the ways to overcome them.
In this session, you will learn:
- How to get executives to understand mLearning
- Why courses are the least of the opportunities
- How to take advantage of mobility
- How to “think small”
- Why “not mobile” is a deal breaker
Intermediate learning professionals who are (or want to be) thinking strategically about mobile.
Technology discussed in this session:
