Not long ago, Bob Mosher kicked off a Performance Support Symposium session by suggesting we abandon training in favor of performance support. Abandon training completely?!? Shocking. Of course, Bob was merely being hyperbolic. He knows that training and performance support are a match made in heaven.
In this session you will explore why training and performance support work best when they are used in tandem with each other. You will discuss the unique attributes of each support method and build connections that show why and how they should be used together. You’ll explore specific strategies on how to find the perfect training/performance support blend for any situation, and you’ll review a number of examples of balanced and blended solutions.
