Mobile technologies have changed the way we live our day-to-day lives, but they have yet to be integrated into most organization’s learning and performance strategies. Mobile technologies open a number of new opportunities to support an organizational workforce, especially from a performance-support standpoint. It requires a concerted effort to take advantage of this opportunity to look at your organizational learning strategy differently.
In this case-study session you will examine the formulation and implementation of Qualcomm’s enterprise mobile-learning strategy. You will learn how they utilize mobile technologies to create new opportunities for learning that improve employee performance, productivity, and communication in the enterprise. You will explore how this strategy prioritizes performance support and provides learning resources at the point of immediate need. You will also learn the key IT, legal, and technical issues that came up along the way when they tried to implement this within their enterprise and how they overcame them.
