Irene Boland, the director of performance improvement and training for the
Learning Development Institute, partners with people and
organizations to solve performance issues, maximize the use of resources,
eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and improve profitability. Irene
received her PhD in education, specialization in instructional design in 2009.
She has been working with Fortune 500 and Global 1000 learning and talent
development clients for over 15 years. Additionally, Irene’s research
interests focus on the intersection of learning and technology—determining
the extent to which emerging technologies can be proven effective.
