Director, Customer Training
Technology is changing the way we teach. A few years ago, building eLearning courses meant you needed access to instructional designers, graphic artists, and multimedia specialists. Today’s tools have changed, which means building courses and multimedia content is easier than ever, and often can be done by a single person. This presents a lot of new opportunities, but the reality is that our rapidly changing industry brings its own expectations, demands, and trends that make it difficult for designers to know where to focus their skills and competencies to remain competitive.
Participants in this session will explore the challenges facing today’s course designers, how technology is changing the way we teach, and practical ways you can build your skills to keep up and remain competitive over the next five years.
In this session, you will learn:
- About the ways technology has changed the way we design courses
- Where to find opportunities to craft great learning experiences
- How to build your skills for the next generation of learning
Any level course designer, manager, or learning professional responsible for content and course development. Participants should have a minimum understanding of or experience with building eLearning courses.
