Designing and implementing a learning scorecard is an important step to helping executives, human-resource leaders, and learning personnel monitor the performance of a learning function. Learning scorecards can demonstrate the alignment among programs, strategic objectives, and operating goals, and can show the learning function’s contribution to meeting business objectives.

Participants in this session will learn about a methodology for designing and implementing learning scorecards that track activity, efficiency, and impact data from both macro- and micro-level success perspectives. You’ll see a scorecard template and learn the steps for its use. You’ll also see examples of how the scorecard process has been implemented in various organizations.

These examples will show you lessons learned and recommendations for implementing scorecards in your organization.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to determine an organization’s needs for a learning scorecard
  • How to develop a prototype learning scorecard
  • How to assess what data is required to populate a learning scorecard
