Training for Diversity
July 26, 2018
by Pamela S. Hogle
When it comes to anti-bias and harassment-prevention training, sometimes organizations don’t look at the big picture. Many focus on a narrow scope of sexual harassment behaviors, when they really need to embrace a broad range of diversity issues. When organizations are more diverse, the work environment is more respectful, tolerant, and inclusive—which is what every organization should aim for.
This white paper by Pamela Hogle, Training for Diversity, examines the past and present definitions of anti-bias training and harassment-prevention training and explores how bias can be addressed within an organization—and what has or has not worked. Lastly, it offers suggestions for improving eLearning.
