Prior to joining he worked over 15 years designing and managing learning solutions with organizations such as Smartforce, Pearson Digital Learning, the SUNY Research Foundation, Aspen Dental Management, and Systems Made Simple. His regional consultancy, ThruWork, helps businesses achieve the benefits of becoming more connected and collaborative. Mark regularly presents and writes on his The Simple Shift blog about the use of social media for learning, collaborative networks, and organizational design.

Wendy Farrell

Wendy Farrell is a manager of content solutions at Lionbridge, where she helps define client learning programs and prepare teams to implement content projects. Wendy is a leader in corporate global training, documentation, support, and media solutions. She has presented at numerous conferences, and her award-winning work includes two Brandon Hall gold medals. Most recently, Wendy has focused on the use of 3-D, AR, and VR for customer support and training; this work, in conjunction with HP, won a Brandon Hall gold medal. Wendy has a master’s in instructional design and educational technology and over 25 years of industry experience.

Ann Rollins is a modern learning champion with more than 25 years of industry experience helping form and execute learning strategy for Fortune and Global 500 companies. She is a solution architect at The Ken Blanchard Companies. A learning leader unintimidated by global scale, she always has her eyes on the technology horizon. Her passion lies in helping clients sort out the learning angles and attainability of technology in workforce learning and performance, including AR, VR, chatbots, LX platforms, AI, curation strategy and more. Ann takes a practical, design thinking approach to support her clients as they transform how learning happens and what their ecosystems look like today and tomorrow. Formerly the lead of an instructional design practice of 130 instructional designers, she helps clients to plan, operationalize, resource and upskill, and then then build future-forward, human-centered experiences that our modern learners demand and that deliver measurable business results. She has consulted with clients in national security, media, financial services, automotive, aerospace, healthcare, food and beverage, manufacturing industries and more. Ann serves as a mentor to many emerging designers in the field and is thrilled to be back at LSCON in 2020!

Destery Hildenbrand is a senior instructional designer with GP Strategies and an adjunct instructor at Kirkwood Community College. Destery has over 15 years of experience in training and development. He has spent that time developing for both corporate and higher education. Destery's main focus is on engaging learners through emerging technology and immersive reality experiences.
