If you put 10 instructional designers into a room, chances are they’d all describe what they do a little differently. The working reality is that “instructional design” has become a catch-all phrase to describe and encompass a lot of disparate job functions within the L&D space.

In this session we’ll dig into the many shades of instructional design. We’ll review a skills map in the shape of a pie that breaks down the myriad job functions you may be asked to perform and reflect on your own strengths and weaknesses. We’ll talk about the many places that ID happens within organizations, providing a lay of the land for ID in the real world.

Come with your questions and prepare for a lively discussion with your peers on instructional design!
